INOHA Saint Louis Concert reviews
DOBBIE BROTHERS ROCKIN' HAWAII (AGAIN)!
The lighting behind the keys during the solo was very pretty. Bass was slightly muddy in at start, and sax too soft, but was immediately adjusted to par. At the end, it got really loud. Beautiful DB logo on the stage backdrop. Heck, it's live music! We got our monies worth! The lighting was superb.
Anticipated the guitar intro for 'Long Train Runnin', but once the lyrics kicked in everyone knew what to expect and wildly sang along. They did this in "Blackwater". Love it when they personalize a song for the crowd. These guys can harmonize very well. The song 'Jesus Is Just All Right" made me feel like I was at a rock fellowship. Thanks for fulfilling my spiritual cravings.
Best wishes on your new CD! They shared 4 new songs from their new CD, "World Gone Crazy". Yes, they're still writing / making new music. Did someone say new CD? I especially loved "The Chautea". It has a great beat. Can't remember if it was "Nobody" or "World Gone Crazy", but I was expecting a short acapella at the bridge to add some tease to it.
3 encores to close the show! with the final song "Listen To the Music". Aloha! and Mahalo! You are welcomed to Hawaii anytime! Listen To The Music" of The Doobie Brothers for the rest of my life! And on that note, I will indeed.
